Firstly, thanks to the many arboreta and botanical gardens that I've visited. Botanical gardens meticulously grow and label their plants, allowing me to access plants that are already identified and that may not be native to a particular area. By the sheer number of photographs added to the site, I'm especially thankful for the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University.

Secondly, this work makes extensive use of taxonomic authorities such as Plants of the World Online, as well as conservation databases such as the IUCN Red List.
